Resource Details

In this fun fun fun lesson, students are asked to take part in a competition on an alien world – and show each other the results of their labours to decide the winner. It promotes teamwork and interpretation, includes a peer-assessment opportunity and is really enjoyable. The PowerPoint runs the lesson for you – and can be adjusted to fit your lesson length – and contains all the music you need.

This is not a boring old PowerPoint – it is full of animation and humour. Ideal for IAWB use and for those occasions when you are asked to teach a 45 minute lesson to incoming Year 6s, or to Year 5s who are “looking around”. Great for Citizenship days as it is to do with Cultural Identity - if you want it to be! It’s a Dance/Drama lesson for those who specialise in either, neither or both. It never mentions Dance or Drama! Boys love it – who wouldn’t love the opportunity to become an alien for a while? Could be integrated into a longer scheme if you wish.

Customer Feedback - I "use(d) Zarg with a very lively year 7 class and they thought it was wonderful. My colleagues are all itching to get their hands on it now too. Thank you so much!" Beckie Voller, Leeds
