About the Resource

A comprehensive scheme which will allow students to develop exaggerated and controlled characterisation skills and explore the use of Trestle Masks. Fun and extremely entertaining – this scheme of work will instantly engage your students as they take their driving test, go on a blind date and even appear on the Jeremy Kyle show!

Written for Key Stage 3 it would also be suitable for KS4 students who have had little or no exprience with masks.

Resources are provided for all lessons (except the Trestle Masks; some cheap blank plastic masks would also be useful for parts of the scheme). A thorough plan details activities in each individual lesson.

About the Author

I trained at the University of Warwick in 2008 and spent three years working in a specialist Arts College. I was then successful in being appointed at Head of Drama at a school in Derbyshire, where Drama had never been taught before and the department is now very successful. I currently teach GCSE Drama and English, as well as KS3 Drama also. I hope you enjoy teaching ths scheme as much as I have with my pupils.
