About the Resource

Not sure how to effectively assess in drama? This resource contains full, detailed, assessment criteria that are easy to follow. There are pictures included that show how to display the criteria most effectively for the pupils. The assessment criteria are written in ‘pupil language’ and make assessment for learning an easy and integral part of the lesson. The criteria can be colour coded and linked to key words, drama strategies and lesson plans. Since writing these level descriptors we have seen a real improvement in pupils' understanding of how to achieve in drama and a real understanding of how each piece of work is levelled. For an example of the descriptors, click here.
