Resource Details

This resource is a full scheme of work for the BTEC First Certificate/ Diploma in Performing Arts Acting Skills and Techniques Unit B4. The scheme of work is easy to follow and fun to teach. Included with this resource are the assignment briefs, teacher feedback form and all resources needed to teach and assess the unit. The unit is split into three assignments: Acting workshops, devised monologue and scripted monologue. These can be taught in any order as the scheme of work is very flexible, we would suggest that the workshops begin the unit as these involve basic acting skills, ready for performance.  It is often difficult to design schemes of work for the BTEC, as the grading criteria are very open to interpretation. With this resource you save yourself the hassle of planning and designing engaging assignments that link with the criteria. The scheme of work is easily adaptable to all levels and is very practical and engaging.
