Ask a question about this resource

"Just to let you know, every student received Cs and above for their unit 3 exam...... Thank you so much for the help, as it obviously worked! Even better to know that the "top dog" from Edexcel watched the kids which proves we are and have been doing something right". (Teacher from Middlesex, August 2015)

"Just to say thank you again for your support. We achieved 83% a*-c. We are appealing for two pupils who missed the C by 2 marks which will take us to 85%. Thank you for all your help".(Nadene Warwick, August 2015)

Let Clive Hulme help you by bringing his knowledge of the specification and mark schemes to your classroom.

He spent five years as a visiting examiner for Unit 3, examining roughly 350 students in each series. In his final series not a single mark was changed by his team leader!.

Clive can work with you and / or your students to maximise their achievement in this difficult unit.

He can advise on material, work as a director with groups at any point in the process or be your "examiner" in a practice session. Whether your group is at the very beginning and need some inspiration or are near the end and need "polishing", Clive will come in and work - hard - with them around a schedule to suit you.

Or if you are uncertain of the rules, regs and requirements then part of the day can be a one-to-one training session for you (with exemplar videos). Or maybe all you want is a chat via Skype for an hour - everything is possible.

Clive has worked all over the country with hundreds of students since ceasing to examine.

A recent project in the Midlands, involving working with students and their teachers in school and then following up via Skype, saw the average mark per student in this Unit go up by 20 compared to the previous cohort, with the top student gaining 116 UMS. "Thank you once again for all your input" was the post-results message.

More feedback from teachers:

"...Thank you so much, the students have found the comments and your visit extremely useful. Since your visit the 'Attempts' group [one group was performing Attempts On Her Life] have rehearsed for five hours after school. Whatever you said to them worked! I have nothing but positive comments back from every group. They found the day very useful. I only wish that I thought of this sooner and had you in for a few more days. Thank you again for creating a relaxed and stress free day. I will be in contact in the future to organise a workshop/day with my current Year 10s".

"Having you in has made the majority of them focus more so that is a help in itself. It's lovely to see someone so passionate with the kids and the subject. When you are on your own you sometimes forget what got you interested in the first place :) ".

"Thank you for all the guidance, the students were all extremely positive with all your support. Will be in contact and will probably set up a Skype consultation during April. Thank you again and I look forward to working with you again".
