Resource Details

The ten scripts stem from me needing material for Key Stage 3 students to learn “off by heart”. I had noticed that students in general are not good at this skill; I think we have to take some of the blame for not developing it sufficiently. I couldn’t find anything suitable so I wrote these ten scripts. They can be incorporated into your own scheme of work and are fully editable. They could be used in one week or could be used over a half term or more. As they are unfinished, students are encouraged to learn the first part and then devise the ending. Suitable for KS3 or KS4 – students will approach them at different levels. An absurd / comic style gives plenty of scope for inventiveness. Good for a one-off cover lesson or for teaching page-to-stage, a fuller explanation is given in the download sample – click here.
