About the Resource

This exciting scheme has nine full lesson plans and supporting powerpoint presentations and resources which will introduce a range of practitioners, genres and performance styles to your KS4 students, or perhaps your higher ability KS3 pupils.

Students will explore  Stanislavski, Brecht and Artaud as well as black comedy, melodrama and tragedy through practical and engaging lessons - each one linking to the theme of War in some way. The scheme culminates with a devised piece based on a stimulus they research and using a genre, style and conventions that they've previously explored.

This scheme is written for KS4 or KS3 and would be especially suitable for students who are studying for their GCSE and are developing and enhancing their knowledge and understanding of the subject.
